Bug#427636: libslang2: Bump version number in shlibs files

Package: libslang2
Version: 2.0.7-1
Severity: normal

[For some background on the motivation behind this bug report, please see
Bug#427166.]

In version 2.0.7 of slang2, new symbols were introduced in the public API of
libslang2 (e.g. SLfile_*_method). This causes problems when building the
jed packages against libslang2_2.0.7 because the ${shlibs:Depends}
calculates "libslang2 (>= 2.0.6-3)". It is a little bit unfortunate that
the upstream author bumped only the micro number of the soversion of
libslang2 between releases 2.0.6 and 2.0.7, although there were additions to
the API.

Could the minimal version in the shlibs file be bumped, please?

I hope that this will not be a problem in the future, once Raphael Hertzog's
implementation of dpkg-gensymbols [1], recently announced in debian-devel
[2], will become official in Debian.
