I agree with Günter in the sense that the package in experimental already
fulfils the needs you mention.  Power users courageous enough to try
novelties would use the experimental distribution, anyway.

Besides that, if we introduce jed-experimental in unstable, we would have to
care with each transition jed-experiental_0.99.19~pre1234 -> jed_0.99.19-1.
I think this is too much work for little benefit.
