no mouse support in xjed 0.99.19

Dear Jedies,

I installed

Jed Version: 0.99.19-117
S-Lang Version: 2.0.7

from the Debian/experimental section, but do not get it working:

There is a problem with the mouse interaction:

* mouse clicks are ignored
* quoted_insert() or get_keystring() do not show a received key-string either

* as a side-effect: after a mouse-click, the window will not be updated:
  if I switch to another app that partially obscures the xjed window, this
  part will not be redrawn when switching back, showing the background color
  instead (including the menues and status bars).
  
As a result, I cannot tell whether Jed 0.99.19 really solves the copy|paste
to QT problem.
