A 3rd party package can create this directory. That's not prohibited. The
question is if slsh would load the files from this directory. But I don't
know.

No, there's no such rule.

If slsh doesn't care for this directory, if it exists, but the pristine
slsh does, than I would file a bug. Otherwise I wouldn't care.
