Dear Jed Debian Maintainers,

how should we proceed with Debian Bug #482487?

It is filed against jed-extra, but concernes the failed inclusion of
/usr/share/slsh/ in the jed library path (#476216) that is caused by

* a "weakness" in site.sl (jed-common)

* exposed by slsh 2.1.3-3 removing the /usr/share/slsh/local-packages

* affecting the usability of many modes in jed-extra.

We already had some discussion about #476216 on this list and with John.
Unfortunately, there is no response from the slsh maintainer yet.

* I would like to keep the bugreport #482487 visible from jed-extra, to
  show that the problem is known and dealt with.
  
* OTOH, I would like to make it clear that it is not caused (and
  connot be solved) by jed-extra.
