[Bug 50462] mail is permanently lost if disk is full

Is anything being done to avoid this bug? Comment #40 seems to hit the nail on the head. Wouldn't it suffice to give the disk writing object a signal which is connected to the server-communicating object, if something fails? Or a signal that means that everything is ok. One could even pass a message-ID or something which identifies the mail that has correctly been written to disk. Then the mailserver-object could delete it safely from the server.
