I have been bit by this bug, twice now.  As in #84, I noticed the symptoms, rebuilt my index files, and all appeared to be well -- all my mail in the affected folder was visible.

Hours later, I returned to another machine (also running kmail with dimap), and nearly all of the emails from the affected folder were gone.  (Even more were missing than before.)  This time I was not able to recover -- the emails were gone from all my local caches, and from my webmail IMAP account.

This is extremely annoying, as I *must* rely on dIMAP in order to share my groupware info (contacts, to-dos, etc.) between laptop and desktop systems!!  (Someone please correct me if this has changed.)
