------- Additional Comments From blabj dainty ca 2006-11-20 21:54 -------
There is still some dimap mail loss issues, even after Till's patch. I had one folder in which anything "new" in the folder got immediately deleted - but it seemed to only happen after kmail was running a while ( a couple of days without exiting ).

I spoke to Till breifly on IRC on Nov 16th and he suggested an index rebuild might help. I wasn't brave enough to chance it, so I switched back to online IMAP.

Till suggested it might be a different bug, but the result is "dimap mail loss", so thus, the post here.

The debug output during this deletion was as follows:

kmail: processNextCheck, remaining 1
kmail: for host gentoo-server.dainty.ca current connections=0 and limit is 0
kmail: connection limit reached: false
kmail: processing next mail check for DiMAP Account
kmail: check mail started - connections for host gentoo-server.dainty.ca now is 1
kmail: Deleting 1 sets of messages from server folder /INBOX.AutoFilter.SavedMail/
kmail: connections to server gentoo-server.dainty.ca now 0
kmail: processNextCheck, remaining 0
kmail: account DiMAP Account finished check

This - occuring during interval mail checking of course... update interval of 5 mintues. I have a server-side sieve script which puts emails from "root" in this INBOX.AutoFilter.SavedMail folder... as soon as I noticed I wasn't getting anything new since the previous night, I sent a test message, went to my IMAP server, saw the message come in.. and then saw it "go" at the next interval check.

BJ.
