re #28: Please don't mix different issues. KMail follows GnuPG's result for trust checking. If you don't like GnuPG's result then you can easily change the trust model. Read the documentation of GnuPG for more information.

General reply: We do not have the time/resources to implement this low-priority wish, but if someone provides an acceptable patch we'll consider it for inclusion.
