[pkg-kolab] TSL for LDAP?

Hello,

For the first time in MANY attempts I have a kolab server halfway up and
running. There remain some issues which I want to work on slowly, the first
of which is transport layer security for the LDAP lookups.
I have tried to reference certs/keys from the TLS-lines out commented in the
/etc/ldap/slapd.conf file provided in the readme, but the two routes I took
to get them have failed me:
1) If creating cert/key analogous to what the readme says about cyrus, slapd
wont restart.
2) If I use the procedure outlined in the upstream kolab project's bootstrap
script, slapd will restart fine, but connection attempts then fail with the
message that there's an error in the certificate.

If anyone has any insight into how to do this properly, I'd appreciate
knowing about it and would volunteer to submit a patch to the readme file.

Thanks, Joh
