In fact, I'm using Ubuntu Server 8.04. Scott Hicks tells me on 
Kolab-User mailing list that he had the same problem, and it was due to 
AppArmor. Although I gave everyone permission to read these 
file/folders/parent folders, openldap do not succeed to open it. So I've 
to configure AppArmor to modify permissions.

AFAIK, AppArmor is not used (by default) on Debian distribs, so I think 
my question mainly concern Ubuntu packages, and It's not the right to 
talk about it (I think :-)  ).
