Package: lighttpd
Version: 1.4.11-2bp
Severity: important

I tried to install lighttpd using 'apt-get install lighttpd' on Debian
Sarge. The full message I have received is the following:

# apt-get install lighttpd
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
lighttpd: Depends: lsb-base (>= 3.0-3) but 2.0-7 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

# uname -a
Linux tecra 2.4.34-mmx #1 Mon Jan 29 00:41:35 EET 2007 i586 GNU/Linux

# dpkg -s libc6 | grep ^Version
Version: 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge5

I suggest the dependencies to be fixed.
