Package: lighttpd
Version: 1.4.26-3
Severity: normal
I reported what's essentially the same bug a while ago, see
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=473510
Back then, lighttpd reported localhost addresses as "::ffff:127.0.0.1" when
IPv6 was enabled (you can see this in access.log). The current version reports
it as "::1". Since this is the official "canonical" loopback address, I think
it's fine to assume it will stay at "::1" in the future.
In other words, we don't need to play cat-and-mouse with the lighttpd devs
any more, and "^127\.0\.0\.1$|^::1$" should be sufficient.
