A Brief summary of Altcharge: 

   Altcharge is a check processing solution that gives companies the capabilities to take check payments online and or over the phone.  We have been in business for a total of 5 years. We are a third party financial services company.
    
Once the merchant is active in our system there are five ways that our company will provide to them in order to process their transactions: 

First, we have our own gateway created and their merchants can be setup gateway to gateway by way of easy API integration.  

Second, we also have a virtual terminal that they can process their transactions through;  

Third, we have an IPHONE Application that functions exactly as our virtual terminal does for further convenience.   

Fourth, AltCart:  Suited for small businesses selling a small range of products, hosted payment page for order input from your customers. 

Fifth, TeleMoto:  Call into our call center and speak their transactions to our system.  

Once their client’s information is placed into our system, we then debit the customer’s account. We have a 12 point scrubbing system that allows us to verify funds in the account.  Client payments then get deposited directly into our company bank account and the merchant gets paid. It is THAT SIMPLE!   
Our Solution is 100% in house.  

We have 24 hour customer service and customer support over the phone or by email.  
We have our own IT staff available for any technical questions you may need answered.

Our CFO has 25 years banking history and is a board member with a non-profit organization called Eccho. 
Eccho was created in 1990 by banks as a cooperative venture to encourage the use of electronics to enhance the check collection system. Its primary focus has been the use of image exchange to improve the efficiency of check payments. Eccho is heavily involved in almost every aspect of check electronification across a broad spectrum of banking institutions and organizations regulations, service providers and check law initiatives. 

Our CFO also attends numerous banks to educate them on how we do business, he have an open door policy with all of the banks. They are invited to walk in at any time and check our company files, regardless of the fact that we are not a credit card processor. 
We are PCI compliant. Our owner, David Long, has also been working with Visa and MasterCard for over a quarter of a century. He has written codes for banks in the past, and this is why he opened and launched altCHARGE.  He saw that there is a huge niche market in check processing that ACH cannot touch. 
  
We are not an ACH reseller and we are not a credit card processor. Our core business is check processing. The difference between ACH and altCHARGE?
