As mentioned I did use the SSL configuration out of the box to test the
issue. Putting ssl.use-sslv2 = "disable" produces the crash as reported:
$SERVER["socket"] == "0.0.0.0:443" {
ssl.engine = "enable"
ssl.pemfile = "/etc/lighttpd/server.pem"
ssl.use-sslv2 = "disable"
}
gives the said:
Starting web server: lighttpd2011-01-07 13:46:16: (network.c.336) SSL:
error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)
Olaf, I offered you already once to contribute if you're interested and
you perhaps need some help, I don't insist though. If you don't mind to
fix the bug, you might just go on, otherwise I'm fine to do it as well.
Let's just avoid to waste time when both of use prepare a patch.
