Package: lirc-modules-source
Severity: important
Hello,
dpkg-reconfigure lirc-modules-source installs the builded kernel modules
in an path far away from kernel-module directory.
After build modules are installed in:
/lib/modules/usr/src/linux/misc/
and not in /lib/modules/2.6.18-3-k7/misc
So depmod is useless and modules never found by modprobe etc.
Same result if building by hand with
debian/rules binary-modules KSRC=/usr/src/linux
The builded .deb Paket has in CONTENTS the same wrong path.
Maybe in rules the kernel path isn't stripped?
