[Pkg-lirc-maint] Bug#373871: lirc: IR Transmitting broken with both mceusb2 and serial modules

Hi, I am one of the new maintainers of lirc in Debian. We have recently
packaged version 0.8.2, which is now in unstable and testing. There have
been a bunch of upstream changes which affect these modules, I believe
at least some of the problems have been fixed.

Do you still have time to check whether there are still any outstanding
issues, in which case I shall update the bug, or whether it all now
works and I can close the bug.
