[Pkg-lirc-maint] Bug#517507: lirc: Please update to version 0.8.5

Hi Guys:

I've sent in several small patches from the Ubuntu packages that are
applicable to Debian (in my opinion).  I'd really like to see a long time
goal of the delta reduced to nothing, and I'm willing to keep sending small
snippets so that they can get merged.
