Package: lirc-modules-source
Version: 0.8.3-5
Severity: grave

These modules fail to build against Linux 3.1:

make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-3.1.0-1-amd64'
/usr/src/linux-headers-3.1.0-1-common/arch/x86/Makefile:81: stack protector enabled but no compiler support
  CC [M] /usr/src/modules/lirc-modules/lirc_dev.o
/usr/src/modules/lirc-modules/lirc_dev.c:35:28: fatal error: linux/autoconf.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
make[6]: *** [/usr/src/modules/lirc-modules/lirc_dev.o] Error 1
make[5]: *** [_module_/usr/src/modules/lirc-modules] Error 2
make[4]: *** [sub-make] Error 2
make[3]: *** [all] Error 2

Since the LIRC modules are now included in mainline Linux, it may be
that you should remove this binary package.

Ben.
