Thanks for the notice, I've committed an according patch to svn[1].
I can't give an ETA for an upload at this moment, because we need to
debug issues with devices exposing both an RC_CORE and lirc interface
to userspace first, but it's supposed to get uploaded relatively soon
and definately in time for wheezy.
