As explained earlier, the fix is not simple from a packaging 
perspective. Still, users could easily either disable lircd.socket or 
just remove the package (which most likely shouldn't be installed in 
this case).

 From 0.10.0-2 the logged message is improved to hint about this.

Well, question is if this is a question of everything being  logged 
twice (which I cannot reproduce) or the otherwise known excessive 
logging issue.

It's just a question of restarting the service and look if the first 
messages are duplicated or not. Tagging with "moreinfo"
