Done, using debian-mentors [1]. Conclusions:
- The warnings about obsolete files are false positives in this context.
- The *.dist files used would be better off stored under /usr/share
instead of /etc
My plan is thus to move the *dist files to /usr/share... This will *not*
mute the dpkg/adequate warnings, but is more sane from an overall FHS
point of view. Leaving bug open until this is fixed .
