Hi Rodger,

It sounds like you have missed a step then, sorry I can't be more
precise.

As I remember it you want to try and end up with something looking like:

   Set up cryptographic partitions.
Save changes and write partitions to disk.

   Hard disk 1
      1 500M ext3 /boot
      2 2G crypto None

And then you go to "Set up cryptographic partitions". This will
eventually come back to a screen that shows

Save changes and write partitions to disk.

   Hard disk 1
      1 500M ext3 /boot
      2 2G crypto None

   Crypto partition 1
      1 2G ext3 /

And then you can save the partitions and continue. It may be that the
first section sets the type to "loop" and then the second section to
"crypto", and a third section would allow you to set up the /
mountpoint.

Apologies if I am giving you the wrong information here.

Thanks,

James
