Looking at the package versions, this is indeed what
caused the problem.

As you later describe, loop-aes-utils was upgraded
to upstream 2.13 without mount being also upgraded to
the newer upstream at the same time.

This is clearly a bug in loop-aes-utils dependencies -
it must bump the version depends on mount >= 2.13-1 to
ensure the upgrade procedure for nfs-common works.
