please include the version of the ltsp packages you are using:

we recently uploaded new packages that were significantly different from
the previous versions.

the versions currently in etch are largely broken- i would recommend
using the ltsp packages from sid at the moment. hopefully, they should
make it into etch sometime in the next few days.

also consider using the tool "reportbug", which will help walk you
through filing a good bug report with all the needed information.

some of us can be found in the ltsp channel on irc.freenode.net, too, if
you'd rather chat first.

if you're using the 0.93debian* versions of the packages, we use an
initramfs-tools hook in /opt/ltsp/ARCH/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/ltsp

that way, we're not messing with another package's configuration file.

if using the 0.87debian* versions, it's probably broken, and a bug.

i've never seen this problem.

i don't quite understand you here ...

some options are implemented, but not all:

grab the bzr branch:

bzr get http://pkg-ltsp.alioth.debian.org/bzr/main

or grab the source package:

apt-get source ltsp

look in client/lts-parameters.txt

live well,
