[Pkg-ltsp-devel] vagrant's TODO list

today, i got the packages the pere has built (0.71debian0.pere.1) to
work relatively easily with sid, etch and sarge. 

deb ftp://ftp.skolelinux.no/skolelinux/ sarge local

it only needed three changes for etch and sid:

needed to revert the code in ltsp-build-client that adds
MODULES=netboot, because it is not yet in debian's initramfs-tools
packages.

i also had to pass --late-packages linux-image-486 on the commandline,
rather than installing kernel-image-netbootable (which depends on
initrd-netboot-tools).

i also had to manually add --force-yes to the apt-get calls, because the
ftp.skoleinux.no repository was not gpg-signed.


otavio also encountered a bug (which i can confirm) with passwd handling
which doesn't happen if you use --prompt-rootpass, but does if you leave
the default with a disabled root password. i don't know if this is a bug
in passwd, or in something one of our scripts.
