[Pkg-ltsp-devel] initramfs-tools broken

i just filed a debian bug against initramfs-tools (#380686) because it's
support for nfs mounting is currently broken. the busybox in etch/sid
doesn't support nfs mounting (debian bug #348664), and initramfs-tools
uses mount from busybox.

the simplest workaround would be to set BUSYBOX=n in initramfs.conf, but
it fails to generate a functional initramfs image (and warns you that it
won't work).

other ideas for other workarounds to include good ol' standard mount?

how to nudge the busybox maintainers to include support for nfs?

what are our non initramfs-tools options (initrd-netboot-tools doesn't
work anymore). anyone had luck getting yaird to work?

live well,
