see /usr/share/doc/ltsp-server/README.Debian, the last section is
"multiple architectures on a single server".

the short answer is: you need to install debian on a sparc32 machine,
install ltsp-server on it, run ltsp-build-client, and copy
/opt/ltsp/sparc from the sparc32 machine to /opt/ltsp/sparc on your
AMD64 machine. then on your AMD64 machine, run ltsp-update-kernels.

i've actually been toying around with the idea of making a
debian-installer udeb that builds /opt/ltsp/ARCH without having to
install it(via a writeable NFS share or something), as debian-installer
provides netboot images for most supported architectures. but this is
not likely to be working soon... :)

live well,
