[Pkg-ltsp-devel] boot success, now what?

I installed ltsp-server 0.99debian3. I built a sid client. It boots.

However, when I try to login it kicks me out again without regard to 
the selected session (icewm, gnome, etc). Do I need to perform some ssh 
magic?

How do I get root on the client? In LTSP-4, you could put a shell on 
other screens and switch with Alt-F2 (or whatever).
