how do you work around the missing statfs call in sshfs (this will break
a lot applications, firefox included here)

note that an xrexecd prototype is in the ltsp source since about a year,
how about finishing that instead ? 

also if you happen to use gnome, gconfd will come in your way since it
doesnt allow two instances to write to the database at the same time ...

there are more issues like printing and sound, do you have any ideas for
that ? 

i'm planning to work on teh specced localapps implementation during the
8.10 ubuntu development cycle, how about teaming up efforts here to get
the upstrem spec done instead of putting time into workarounds ? :)
