[Pkg-ltsp-devel] LTSP Local Applications support

Hello, i'm using Debian Lenny with LTSP from Squeeze running in a
virtual Machine (KVM + libvirt) on a Dell PowerEdge 2950. It's supposed
to run about 40 Clients which is a bit too much for this machine. Now
I'm trying to get ltsp_localapps to run some apps (iceweasel, icedove,
gimp, openoffice...) locally but it just won't work.
To test it I installed xterm in my chroot which I can confirm is in my
clients system. Logging in on tty1 and 
	ltsp:/var/log# whereis xterm
	xterm: /usr/bin/xterm ....
gives the correct results. But running "ltsp-localapps /usr/bin/xterm"
in gnome terminal does absolutely nothing. I can't even find any logs
about authentication or anything on either server or client side. What
else could there be that I haven't thought of or how could I trace what
and where it goes wrong.
