Hello
I have been following this link to get lustre going in a test environment and not having a lot of luck
 http://wiki.debian.org/Lustre#Building_Lustre_2.2_kernel_for_Debian_Squeeze

There is a broken dependancy-squeeze ships with e2fslib 1.41.12 and can't seem to be upgraded with debs
that breaks ldiskfsprogs---.deb because it wants a higher version <>=1.42.2 and also breaks lustre-utils--.deb because it wants ldiskfsprogs to be installed this breaks about everthing ...compile or download ..compile the package doesnt make the ldiskfs.deb and the download needs the right libraries. So puke ......

I didn't find a good place to get the deb for the 1.42.2 so i cheated and tryed it with 1.41 and of course i ended up with symbol errors as soon as i tried to make the first mkfs.lustre command

mkfs.ldiskfs: undefined symbol: set_com_err_gettext ..(googles to e2fs,,library errors)
there is also a kernel bug with a vt65556 driver when compiling from the the sources mentioned in that wiki /drivers/staging is missing a file (but who needs it) its a wifi realtech dongle
I would bug report these but I'm not really sure were it should go with experimental and all.

anyway reported as a good citizen and this is the maintainer email in the debs.

Ps: if any of you know the wiki maintainer that has some minor flaws...but is by far the best one i could find. very staright forward
