Package: lvm2
Version: 2.00.24-1
Severity: normal

I apt-get upgraded lvm2 from lvm2_2.00.24-1_i386.deb to lvm2_2.01.04-2_i386.deb
and after reboot my system, device-mapper can find no device.
Then I can find no LV at /dev/mapper/ .

I did "dpkg -i lvm2_2.00.24-1_i386.dev",
device-mapper find VG and LV
and I can find /dev/mapper/vg1-lv1.

You had an partition table on this disk. New versions overwrites this
section to avoid such problems.

Not if you use the new version of lvm2.

As the problem is solved, I'm closing the bug now.
