Package: lvm-common
Version: 1.5.20
Severity: important
While removing lvm-common is saw these errors:
Removing lvm-common ...
Purging configuration files for lvm-common ...
dpkg - warning: while removing lvm-common, directory `/etc/devfs/conf.d' not empty so not removed.
dpkg - warning: while removing lvm-common, directory `/etc/devfs' not empty so not removed.
These reveals the reason:
desktop:~# grep devfs /var/lib/dpkg/info/lvm-common.list
/etc/devfs
/etc/devfs/conf.d
/etc/devfs/conf.d/50lvm
The only files that should be listed there is the last one - /etc/devfs/conf.d/50lvm.
Example:
desktop:~# grep devfs /var/lib/dpkg/info/powermgmt-base.list
/etc/devfs/conf.d/apm
Thanks.
