Bug#435683: etch kpartx is partitioning LVM volumes and IT should NOT

Package: multipath-tools
Version: 0.4.7-1.1

somting about setup
debian etch amd64 (no sepcials)except
bonding multipath iscsi cman clmv xen(dom0)
most of it is ok.
but
I have an iscsi volumegroup which has a volume like... windowsXPimage
problem is that multipath is mostlikely causing tu run kpartx
on this volume and create new dm called windowsXPimage1
I would propably survive this BUT,
I cannot deactivate correctly lvm because of this partition
is keeping windowaXPimage in USE and refuses to deactivate lvm
as I'am using iscsi and clvm (cluster lvm) it's a bit problematic
to do correct shutdown/reboot. (i can't cleanly stop iscsi cause lvm is active.....)
I would expect this to be fixed in etch.
(propably some fix in multipath.rules would do the job
to run kpartx only on multipath devices)

PLEASE PLEASE do a update for etch.
(I noticed that this is done differently in new versions)
But I would like to stay stable.

Kind Regards
  Michal Mihalik
