Bug#432610: lvm-common: cannot install if modutils is not installed

Package: lvm-common
Version: 1.5.20
Severity: important

During the installation of lvm-common update-modules.modutils is called
in some way... If modutils is not installed, it goes into an infinite
loop (or something similar, using 100% of the CPU).
