You can fetch the dsc, diff.gz and orig.tar.gz and build a amd64 version
like:

apt-get build-dep multipath-tools devscripts
dget http://honk.sigxcpu.org/projects/multipath-tools/lenny/5.0.2/multipath-tools_0.4.8-14+lenny2.dsc
dpkg-source -x multipath-tools_0.4.8-14+lenny2.dsc
cd multipath-tools-0.4.8
dpkg-buildpackage
