Package: lvm2
Version: the man page for vgchange and vgscan fail to state exported drives must be imported before activated
Severity: normal

The man page for vgscan and vgchange do not state that exported volumes must first be imported using vgimport.
The rather cryptic message that "$volume .. exported" is not mentioned in the man page of vgchange or vgscan.
Therefore, users may wrongly think they have lost access to an lvm volume.
