Hi Stéphane.

In the meantim it seems like this:

lvm2 does:
# X-Start-Before:    checkfs mountall

checkfs does:
# Required-Start:    checkroot


So as far as I understand, that should mean that checkroot is always  
started before, right?

So can we close this now?

btw: how can your /dev be ro?
