Package: lvm2
Version: 2.02.66-5
Severity: important
lvrename fails to rename the COW partition associated with a snapshot:
device-mapper: rename ioctl failed: Device or resource busy
Then if a rename is attempted to the name that should have previously been renamed away
(but returned EBUSY instead as above)
[ 698.009267] device-mapper: ioctl: Unable to change name on mapped device debian-kvmraw--aurora.snapshot.old-cow to one that already exists: debian-kvmraw--aurora.snapshot.old2-cow
Further operations on the snapshot produce a hang in uninterruptible I/O state
which requires a reboot.
