Bug#645247: multipath-tools: output from `multipath -lld' does not separate fields

There are two unsatisfied dependencies in the multipath-tools_0.4.8+git0.761c66f-10_amd64.deb.
One is libncurses5 (>= 5.7+20100313).  We are running the latest available in stable Lenny - 5.7+20081213-1.   This is probably not critical, and will work.  The other is libreadline6 (>= 6.0).  I was not able to find libreadline6 in any of Lenny repositories.   We are running libreadline5 version 5.2-3.1.  Do you think it would be possible to link multipathd against libreadline5?
