We switched from prio_callout to libprio some time back (a couple years).
But I'm surprised that prio_callout is completely gone. That wasn't my
understanding.
I thought libprio was the default and prio_callout was deprecated.
Doesn't seem to be the case from what you've reported.

The prio_callout approach had design issues. Imagine sanboot environments.

I checked the sources. The squeeze version has no support for prio_callout.
The lenny version has the support. Some sometime in between upstream
would have switched.

Please use libprio instead.
