Bug#702274: lvm2: Start nested LVM Groups

Package: lvm2
Version: 2.02.95-6
Severity: wishlist

For things like the logical pool type for libvirt-bin it would be nice if LVM could detect and start nested LVM Groups (e.g. having an lvm logical volume as a physical volume for a nested lvm group). This would allow the flexibility of lvm even when shrinking a physical volume is not possible so a second phsyical device, and therefore second volume group, cannot be created from an exiting configuration, without a complete wipe and reinstall of the storage media.
