Ah, I didn't even know about `partx', thanks. I don't really care about
the /dev/loop... entries, /dev/dm-6 was perfectly adequate for my needs.
The problem that needs fixing is that "kpartx -l /dev/loop0" says
/dev/loop0p1 even though it ends not using this name.
I suggested to fix it by adding a /dev/loop0p1 symlink, but if you
prefer to fix it by changing the output of "kpartx -l", that's fine by
me, all that matters is that "kpartx -l" should return one of the file
names that will end up being used.
