Aha, well, thanks for replying. The fun thing is that I have a situation 
where two different luns in the same configuration are acting different.

I just created a case at NetApp, (no. 2005131664). Let's see what happens!

Our multipath.conf is pretty simple by the way:

defaults {
	path_grouping_policy multibus
	rr_min_io 1000
	failback immediate
	no_path_retry queue
	user_friendly_names yes
}

# be explicit about what to multipath, prevent local disks and
# crap to be inserted into multipath/bindings
blacklist {
	device {
		vendor "*"
		product "*"
	}
}
blacklist_exceptions {
	device {
		vendor "NETAPP"
		product "LUN"
	}
}
