advice on building/using latest git of lvm2 in debian

Hello everyone,

I want to make a Debian package for Debian stable (or testing) and I
would like some advice on what will be the best way to go at this.

I want to test the new lvm's cache feature in the hope that it will
seed up our virtualization platforms by using local ssds with lvm
cache on the kvm nodes that use iscsi with lvm as storage backend.

I will also be at FOSDEM next weekend if someone wants to meet-up?
