that problem you reported seems to be fixed upstream. I couldn't figure 
out however, whether the problem is fixed in Debian's version. I think it 
probably is. I didn't invest much time to find out though.

Also the config options described in the upstream bug report should 
probably find their way into Debian's /etc/lvm/lvm.conf.

And also I couldn't find a man page in Debian for `lvm dumpconfig` that 
describes the above mentioned options. And `lvm dumpconfig --help` doesn't 
produce much useful info...

All in all, I'm not sure whether that #666931 should be closed.
