Hello Ritesh
> Just FYI. This same issue is fixed with the version currently residing in experimental. I mean, the fix was inherited with the rebase to the git repo. :-)

Certain packages had to be installed from testing/stretch to successfully resolve all dependencies.
I can confirm that the following combination of packages work on a jessie based installation.
From testing/stretch:
ii dmsetup 2:1.02.104-1 amd64 Linux Kernel Device Mapper userspace library
ii libdevmapper1.02.1:amd64 2:1.02.104-1 amd64 Linux Kernel Device Mapper userspace library
ii liblvm2app2.2:amd64 2.02.127-1 amd64 LVM2 application library
ii liblvm2cmd2.02:amd64 2.02.111-2.2 amd64 LVM2 command library
ii libsgutils2-2 1.41-1 amd64 utilities for devices using the SCSI command set (shared libraries)
ii sg3-utils 1.41-1 amd64 utilities for devices using the SCSI command set
ii sg3-utils-udev 1.41-1 all utilities for devices using the SCSI command set (udev rules)
ii lvm2 2.02.127-1 amd64 Linux Logical Volume Manager
From experimental:
ii kpartx 0.5.0+git0.770e6d0d-2 amd64 create device mappings for partitions
ii multipath-tools 0.5.0+git0.770e6d0d-2 amd64 maintain multipath block device access
ii multipath-tools-boot 0.5.0+git0.770e6d0d-2 all Support booting from multipath devices
Thanks a lot!
