Please note that this report is just about "dpkg-buildpackage -A" not
working. The suggestion about using "dh" is just that, a personal
suggestion, but it's not part of this bug.

If you don't have much time, I would just fix the bug the easy way
(i.e. the patch that you sent me, plus options -a and -i). You don't need
a bug report open to switch to dh later, because in fact, it is not a
bug not to use dh.
