[Pkg-lyx-devel] Bug#198381: Could you please check if the new output is what you would consider a sane output

Hi,
LyX 1.4.2 creates a different ascii output related to footnotes.
I hope this new output is something you can agree to as a sane output.

A diff of the relevant part looks like this:

 <Dear ...>

-This is a sample letterThis footnote gets placed very poorly in ASCII export..
+This is a sample letter
+
+This footnote gets placed very poorly in ASCII export.
+.

 <Yours sincerely,>
-------cut------------

Would be nice if you could comment on this quite old bugreport.

When you're not ok with this new format please make a proposal I can
post to the lyx-devel mailinglist.
